I responded to some comments on the last entry, and got a little long-winded. That's my official post for today. Back-track if you're interested.
Question:
Anybody ever relax/straighten their hair? I'm thinking about doing it, and wanted to put out some feelers and see what folks think. Supposedly my hair guy can just relax it so that it's wavy, not pin straight. I figure I'll only have this mop another year or so before I get sick of it and cut it all off again anyway, so why not?

Since Gia is sick and not commenting on blogs, I'll respond for her:
"I got one of those hair straighteners a couple weeks ago and it is awesome. It's like a crimper, except the little plates are flat instead of wavy. Remember crimpers? Anyway, I totally love it. It makes my hair feel 25lbs lighter. And don't tell anyone, but Tony helps me straighten the parts in the back that I can't reach."
Wait ... damnit.
Thanks, Sarah and "Gia". I'm still debating about this. I'm going to try a haircut first, and see if that helps - it won't, but it's a great avoidance tactic. You see, my sister and I have this affliction where we think we look like we have huge faces and heads. This makes getting rid of my distractingly large wild curls a little unnerving. I'll be all face with my hair gone...Perhaps some photos illustrating my point are in order. I know, more empty promises of photos yet to come. It's terrible.
